Observant readers have probably noticed by now that we haven’t posted any new recommendations for the last few days. We’re sorry about that. All three of us are having a tough time balancing school and/or work with T4B.
As much as we really don’t want to do it, we’re putting the site on hiatus for a while.
If you’re still hungry for new music, here’s a couple of sites you can use. Personally, I’m into AllMusic and Rate Your Music. Alex is really into The Needle Drop (Anthony Fantano). And as always, Reddit’s got your back with an obscene amount of subreddits. It’s up to your judgement to determine which of those subs are worth your time, though.
As always, stay hungry, even if we’re not the ones serving you the food.
Looks like we’ve missed the last few articles! A few people have spoken to me personally, saying “I’m going hungry” and wondering where our reviews are.
And that’s no bueno.
Keep an eye on this site for the next hour or two. We’re going to be posting articles as fast as we can, leaving you with a musical buffet.
Finney is a rad guy. But he is not Superman. Between school, extracurricular activities, a part-time job, and an infinitely large cadre of women, he’s stretched a bit thin. If you have the literary machete needed to cut through my impractically long previous sentence then you probably get what we’re trying to say. Finney has resigned.
For a little while, Tunes for Breakfast is going to be a two-person operation. Alex and I will be looking for committed music lovers who want to share their favorite albums. If you are interested, send us an email or maybe get to us through Twitter or Instagram.
Two more things, music lovers. After today, you won’t see us post again until 9/15 while we find more people to spread the workload. We have a backlog of posts, actually, but we want more than two people working on the site. It helps us bring a variety of tastes so that our Breakfast is the most palatable that it can be. Furthermore, we will stop updating our Facebook and Google+ accounts so that we can focus more on Twitter and Instagram.
Stay hungry! We won’t keep you fasting for long!
